About the role:

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons in various scientific disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science. You will have the opportunity to inspire students to explore the wonders of science while helping them develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Science lessons that cater to a wide range of student abilities and learning styles.

  • Create an interactive, student-centered classroom environment that fosters curiosity and a love for learning.

  • Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help them succeed.

  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop and enhance the Science curriculum.

  • Contribute to the school’s mission by incorporating Christian values and faith-based teaching into your lessons and interactions with students.

  • Support the personal, social, and emotional development of students, fostering an environment of respect, responsibility, and academic integrity.

  • Qualified Science Teacher: A relevant degree in Science (e.g., Bachelor of Education, Science degree) with the ability to teach across various Science disciplines.

  • Passionate and Inspiring Educator: A genuine passion for Science and the ability to make complex concepts engaging and accessible for all students.

  • Commitment to Christian Values: While not necessarily required to be of a particular faith, candidates should have an understanding and respect for the school’s Christian ethos and values.
