About the Science teaching role: As a Science Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Years 7–12, including practical and theoretical components of Science.
Develop student skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, investigation, and scientific reasoning.
Use assessment data to inform teaching, differentiate learning, and support students with diverse abilities.
Participate in curriculum development, enrichment programs, and co-curricular activities to enhance student engagement.
Support the school’s pastoral care framework and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Encourage students to connect classroom learning to real-world applications, promoting curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking.
About you You are a passionate Science teacher who:
Holds a recognised teaching qualification and is eligible for NESA registration.
Has experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Is passionate about fostering a love of Science in students and helping them achieve their academic potential.
Is committed to inclusive, student-centred teaching and contributing to co-curricular and enrichment opportunities.
Is adaptable, reflective, and keen to collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning outcomes.
