Prospero Teaching is partnering with a highly regarded independent Islamic school in South-Western Sydney to recruit an experienced and passionate Science Teacher for a full-time permanent position commencing in Term 3, 2026.

🔬 About the Role

• Teach Science across Years 7–12
• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the NSW Curriculum
• Prepare students for success in HSC Science subjects
• Foster scientific thinking, inquiry skills, and problem-solving
• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
• Contribute to faculty initiatives and broader school programs
• Participate in professional learning and school events

🎓 Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification with Science specialisation
• Current NESA accreditation
• Experience teaching secondary Science (Stage 4–6)
• Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of NSW Curriculum and HSC requirements
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting the school's Islamic values and ethos
