Are you an engaging and knowledgeable Science teacher ready to join a structured and supportive secondary setting?

We are currently seeking a passionate Secondary Science Teacher (Years 7–10) to join a well-regarded faith-based co-educational college located in Melbourne’s north-western suburbs. This is a full-time position commencing Term 2, with both fixed-term and ongoing opportunities available for the right candidate.


The Role

  • Teach Science across Years 7–10

  • Full-time teaching load

  • Commencing Term 2

  • Fixed-term contract with potential for ongoing appointment

  • Opportunity to contribute to co-curricular and pastoral programs

This role would suit a teacher who can foster curiosity, encourage scientific inquiry, and build strong learning relationships with junior and middle secondary students.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level (Years 7–10)

  • Ability to deliver engaging, practical and differentiated lessons

  • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills

  • Commitment to student wellbeing and academic growth

  • Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative faculty team

Experience within a Catholic or faith-based setting is welcomed but not essential.


You Must

  • Hold (or be eligible for) VIT registration

  • Have full working rights in Australia

  • Be available to commence Term 2

  • Provide three professional references from recent employers

  • Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge in your Science teaching specialism
