We are currently seeking a dedicated and engaging Science Teacher (Years 7–9) to join a well-established Catholic secondary college in Melbourne’s western suburbs. The Role

  • Teach Science across Years 7–9

  • Full-time position

  • Ongoing or fixed-term options available

  • Commencing Term 2, 2026 (or earlier by negotiation)

This role would suit a teacher who is enthusiastic about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry in junior secondary students.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons

  • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a faculty team

  • Understanding of and alignment with faith-based education settings (desirable)


You Must

  • Hold (or be eligible for) VIT registration

  • Have full working rights in Australia

  • Be available to commence Term 2, 2026 (or earlier if applicable)

  • Provide three professional references from recent employers

  • Demonstrate experience teaching Science at secondary level
