About the Role

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Physics Teacher for a fixed-term position across Terms 3 and 4 at one of our partner independent schools in South-West Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community committed to high-quality teaching, student wellbeing and strong character development. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Physics lessons, inspire students to develop their scientific knowledge and critical thinking skills, and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Physics Teacher Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Physics lessons across secondary year levels
• Follow curriculum programs and school policies
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Assess, monitor and support student achievement
• Build strong relationships with students, staff and the wider school community

What We're Looking For

• Current NESA registration (Conditional, Provisional or Proficient)
• Relevant Secondary Teaching qualification
• Physics teaching experience
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff
• Commitment to student wellbeing and positive learning outcomes
