Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a growing independent school in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs to recruit passionate, qualified and values-aligned Secondary Teachers across a range of subject areas for positions commencing Term 1, 2027.

About the Role
Successful applicants will:
- Teach within their area of subject specialisation across Years 7–12.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated and curriculum-aligned lessons.
- Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor and report on student learning and progress.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families.
- Work collaboratively with teaching teams to support student achievement and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school through co-curricular activities, excursions, camps and school events.
- Support the school’s Christian values and contribute positively to its community culture.
About You
We are seeking teachers who are passionate about education and committed to supporting students to achieve their academic and personal potential.
You will ideally have:
- A recognised Secondary Teaching qualification such as a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching (Secondary).
- Current or pending Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, differentiated learning.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A genuine commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion and child safety.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
- A willingness to actively support and respect the school’s Christian values and ethos.
- Full working rights in Australia.
