Prospero teaching is partnering with a well-respected secondary school in Mount Gambier, one of South Australia’s largest and most vibrant regional centres. The school has a strong focus on inclusion, student wellbeing and culturally responsive education, and is seeking a committed leader to drive tailored learning and Aboriginal education initiatives across the school.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced educator or middle leader to step into a strategic senior leadership role that directly supports student growth, equity and community engagement.
Full-time, permanent senior leadership position
Lead tailored learning, intervention programs and differentiated support
Oversee Aboriginal education, including community partnerships and cultural engagement
Drive whole-school approaches to inclusion, literacy and personalised learning
Work with a highly collaborative leadership team committed to positive student outcomes
Start term 1, 2026 (earlier start negotiable)

Qualification in education with current or eligible SA teacher registration (TRB SA)
Demonstrated leadership experience in tailored learning, inclusion, Aboriginal education or student support
Strong understanding of differentiated practice, intervention models and literacy improvement
Ability to build respectful relationships with Aboriginal students, families and community stakeholders
Proven capability in staff leadership, coaching and collaborative practice
Excellent communication, cultural competency and organisational skills
Eligibility for South Australian teacher registration (TRB SA)
Full working rights in Australia (sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate)
Valid working with children check
Recent professional references including leadership referees
