Prospero Teaching Australia is partnering with a leading independent P–12 co-educational school in North Queensland to appoint a Senior Secondary Curriculum Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role commencing in Term 1, 2026.

The Senior Secondary Curriculum Coordinator plays a key leadership role in guiding and supporting staff and students through the senior years (Years 10–12). This role is pivotal in shaping curriculum pathways, maintaining QCAA compliance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning in the senior phase of schooling.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support for staff and students preparing for and navigating Years 10–12.
Oversee, monitor, and support QCAA endorsement and confirmation processes.
Lead Senior Education and Training (SET) planning and the exploration of senior subject pathways.
Work collaboratively with Deputy Curriculum and Deputy Administration to develop and refine senior subject offerings.
Facilitate professional development opportunities that build staff capacity to deliver QCAA courses, meet requirements, and enhance student outcomes.
Undertake a reduced teaching load commensurate with leadership responsibilities.
Be an experienced, registered teacher with proven success in leading senior curriculum development.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of QCAA processes, endorsement, and confirmation requirements.
Be skilled in building strong relationships with staff, students, and families.
Have the ability to inspire, mentor, and support teachers in delivering high-quality senior secondary programs.
Be collaborative, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement.
