The Opportunity

As the school's STEM Specialist Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering curiosity, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking across the primary years.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging STEM programs that inspire students to explore, problem solve and develop future-focused skills through hands-on learning experiences.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering STEM lessons across Prep-Year 6
  • Designing engaging and innovative learning experiences
  • Integrating Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics concepts
  • Encouraging inquiry-based and project-based learning
  • Supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and leadership
  • Promoting creativity, innovation and digital literacy

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Current teaching registration or eligibility for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Ability to provide recent teaching references
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to working within an inclusive school community
