The Student Life Leader will provide leadership and support in the areas of:
Student engagement
Student voice and agency
Student leadership development

Co-curricular programs

This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with students beyond the classroom and is passionate about developing confident, responsible young leaders.
The successful applicant will:
Develop and lead initiatives that enrich student life and promote connection across the College
Support and mentor student leadership teams, including College Captains and House Leaders
Create opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and confidence
Promote student voice and agency through meaningful programs and activities
Coordinate House competitions and initiatives that build school pride and community spirit
Support student involvement in co-curricular activities and events
Develop programs that celebrate student achievements and contributions
Work collaboratively with staff to strengthen wellbeing, engagement, and community connections
Support student leaders in liturgy, social justice, and College events

The successful candidate will:
Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and current VIT registration
Demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the college
Have experience supporting student wellbeing, leadership, or engagement programs
Possess excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills
Be passionate about empowering young people and developing student agency
Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, families, and the wider community
Have a commitment to ongoing professional growth and educational leadership
Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or willingness to work towards this) is required.
The interview process will include:
Panel interview with College leaders
Discussion around leadership experience, student wellbeing, and community engagement
Opportunity to ask questions about the role and College culture
Reference checks completed in line with child safety requirements
