Prospero Teaching is partnering with a well-regarded secondary school in Melbourne’s south-east to recruit a passionate and experienced TAS / Design & Technology Teacher for a Term 3 placement. This is a unique opportunity to inspire students through hands-on learning, practical problem-solving, and creativity.
As TAS / Design & Technology Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons across Years 7–10 Design & Technology
Teach Woodwork, Metalwork, and Textiles to Years 9–10
Lead practical, project-based learning that develops student skills and creativity
Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards and student engagement
Hold relevant secondary teaching qualifications (e.g. B.Ed., M.Teach)
Be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
Demonstrate strong classroom management and student-centred learning strategies
Be passionate about fostering creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills in students
Thrive in a collaborative, supportive, and dynamic school environment
