More about the TAS teaching role:As a valued member of the teaching team, you will report directly to the Principal through the Deputy Principal and Faculty Coordinator. You will play a key role in delivering engaging TAS lessons that meet curriculum standards and support diverse student learning needs.
TAS Teacher is a Technological and Applied Studies Teacher who will typically teaches subjects related to technology, design, and practical skills. This can include:
Design and Technology (woodwork, metalwork, plastics, and other materials)
Textiles and Fashion
Food Technology
Digital Technologies (such as coding, robotics, and multimedia)
Engineering and Applied Sciences
The focus is on developing students’ practical skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of technology and applied design principles.

Develop and deliver differentiated TAS lessons that align with curriculum requirements
Provide timely, constructive assessment and feedback to enhance student progress

Maintain clear and professional communication with the school community
Utilise digital platforms to support learning and communication
Relevant teaching qualifications with current registration (NESA or equivalent)
Valid Working with Children Check clearance
Proven expertise in TAS curriculum content and classroom management
Strong skills in lesson planning, programming, and assessment
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
