Prospero Teaching is working alongside a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Broadmeadows seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Officer to join their team.

You will primarily support students within a Year 3/4 learning environment, working alongside experienced classroom teachers and school leaders.
Responsibilities include:
Providing one-to-one support for students requiring additional assistance
Supporting literacy and numeracy development
Assisting students to access classroom learning activities
Working with students who require movement breaks, sensory supports, or engagement strategies
Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Assisting with small-group intervention programs
Helping implement individual learning plans and adjustments
Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families
No two days will be the same, making this a highly rewarding role for someone who enjoys making a genuine difference.
Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
Learning Support Officer, Teacher Aide, Integration Aide, Disability Support, Youth Work, Psychology, Education or Community Services backgrounds encouraged to apply
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Passion for supporting student wellbeing and learning
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
