Prospero Teaching is proud to be partnering with a welcoming and community-focused secondary school in Bendigo, to recruit a passionate and skilled Woodwork / Design & Technology Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive regional school that values hands-on learning, creativity, and student engagement.
We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who:
• Delivers engaging, practical Woodwork / Technology lessons
• Has experience teaching Materials Technology / Woodwork across Years 7–10 (VCE/VET advantageous)
• Creates a safe, structured, and engaging workshop environment
• Uses hands-on, project-based learning to drive student engagement
• Builds strong relationships with students and contributes to a positive school culture
• Is collaborative and committed to continuous professional growth
• Relevant teaching qualification (Design & Technology / Woodwork)
• VIT registration (or eligibility)
• Strong classroom and workshop management skills
• Knowledge of safe machinery use and workshop practices
• Full working rights in Australia
