The Woodwork Teacher Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Woodwork teacher to join our dedicated team starting Term 3, 2026. In this role, you will:

  • Teach Woodwork to Years 7–12, delivering both practical and theoretical components.
  • Lead engaging lessons on woodworking techniques, materials, tools, and design principles.
  • Foster creativity, technical skill development, and critical thinking in students.
  • Support project-based learning through hands-on construction, assessments, and class activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, cross-curricular projects, and school events.
  • Create a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment that encourages student growth and self-expression.

Key Woodwork Teacher Requirements

  • VIT registration or eligibility to teach in Victoria.
  • Relevant teaching qualification in Woodwork, Design and Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking theory, tools, materials, and classroom management.
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills, and a passion for teaching.
  • Ability to inspire and support students in their creative and technical development.
